MTV's "Rock The Cradle" reality show contestant L'il B Sure speaks to Canada's leading hip-hop blog, HipHossip


Reality show Contestant says famous dad has always been there to guide him through his emerging career.

Toronto, Canada (April 24, 2008) -- HipHossip, the leading Canadian Hip-Hop and R&B music gossip blog interviewed L'il B Sure, the son of the famous 80's and 90's R&B star Al B. Sure. L'il B is currently a contestant on the reality show "Rock The Cradle" on MTV, USA. The show features children of famous singers competing for a prize and the public votes for the best contestant at the end of the show. Lil B has been a sensation on the three week show that just premiered in Canada Sunday April 20th 2008 on the Much Music channel.

L'il B talked so candidly about his siblings especially his16-year-old brother Quincy born to model Kim Porter and 17-year-old Devin an Atlanta Producer whose mom used to manage singer Monica. He stressed that their father keeps them all together and they intend to follow in his footsteps making it in a hit music career. L'il B also talked about his fears of reading all the gossip on the internet with regards to his family and said people often mistaken him for model Kim Porter's son Quincy thinking he was the reality show contestant. He described his own mother as very media shy and not in the tabloids and news plus she works for a small town Mayor in New York State.

Lil B sure actually has a great voice, he had a pore sense of judgement on MTV's reality show Rock the Cradle- he should have done better in his song selection i.e. picked songs that would have showcased his talent.
